The Great Alain Robbe-Grillet died at 85!
The famous French filmmaker and writer Alain Robbe-Grillet died yesterday and unfortunately we lost one of the most talented artists of our time.
He was belong to the French New Wave and many of his novels and scripts were adopted for the big screen.
One of his most famous works called The Erasers which was published in 1953 and apparently is my own very favorite followed by The Voyeur, two years later showed how much talented he was.
After a number of fantastic philosophical novels he directed some movies as well which The Beautiful Prisoner was one of the most popular ones in 1983.
He was with the French young talents such as Alain Resnais, Jean Luc-Godard and others during the French New Wave Revolution on 1960s which marked one of the new era in many countries and not just art.
His novels, essays and scripts have been translated to many languages.
God Bless Him.
Cheers
